Photographer
Jean Bai is an architectural and interiors photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Influenced by her training as a photojournalist on her college newspaper, she believes that capturing environments with realism is what makes images most meaningful and timeless.
In her photos, she is drawn to how different qualities of light create atmosphere and breathe life into a space. She is strongly influenced by bold compositions and strives to create immaculate and balanced images.
She was the first-place recipient of the 2020 American Photographic Artists Awards for architectural photography and is a member of Found Artists, Women Photograph, and Diversify Photo. Since 2022, she has worked with Apple’s photo team capturing their U.S. retail stores and visual merchandising.
